March 2017 Beauty Must Haves

March 2017

These past couple of weeks I have been trying out a lot of new products, in an attempt to make my collection better for spring! All of the products mentioned below can be found at Sephora or Lush

#1) Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash.
Without a doubt this is my favourite face cleanser that I have ever tried. I took a break from it this winter in hopes of finding something better, but nothing even came close! This product is perfect regardless if you have oily or dry skin.  The smell is super refreshing, and your face will feel squeaky clean after every wash. It feels very moisturizing and constantly leaves my face feeling super soft. I have tried a lot of products from Origins but this is definitely my favourite product in any of their lines.

#2) Lush Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Mask
cup o coffee
Okay you need will power to use this, because it smells PHENOMENAL you will be tempted to eat it. I’ve been using this mask every other day  and have noticed my skin looking healthier and more awake. The coffee grind in this mask works as a great exfoliate and has been severely helping my dry skin. My only regret with this product is that I purchased the 150g size, when I repurchase this product I will only ever get the 325g because I know I will use every ounce of it. For all you coffee lovers out there you need to try this just so smell the fragrance at the very least!

#3) Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I know I’m a little late to the game when it comes to this foundation. It has hundred of great reviews on YouTube, and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to try it. The product claims to be medium to full coverage, but I would argue its definitely on the full side of the spectrum. A little bit of foundation goes a long way with this product! I find the wear on the this foundation lasts a full day, and it oxidizes really nicely looking fresh all day without getting shiny or patchy. This is the first Too Faced product I’ve tried, and I know it won’t be the last!

#1) Ouai Dry Shampoo
dry shamp

This is definitely the most expensive dry shampoo I have ever purchased, but Ouai has gained so much publicity and attention at Sephora this past year that I just HAD to have it. I love this product because it is CLEAR and having dark hair this is deal breaker in a dry shampoo. You don’t have to worry about your hair having a grey tint! I also love that this product smells fresh and not at all like baby powder. It also feels really nice on the hair, and doesn’t leave your hair feeling dry! I am interested to try this product in their foaming formula, to see if it works just as good! I will definitely be repurchasing this product because it is totally worth the price.

#2) Lush H’Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment
hair treatment
This hair product has been a game changer for me. I’ve been trying to wash my hair less in an effort to make it healthier and this product is the only thing I have found to totally clean my hair. I put this on for 2omins before I shampoo/condition my hair like normal, and then I do not have to wash my hair for FIVE DAYS. This is a miracle because I used to wash my hair every other day. (Disclaimer: by day 4 you will need a little dry shampoo to freshen up your roots, but your strands will remain healthy and shiny!) I will point out that this hair mask smells very strongly of chai, so if you are curious about that scent I would recommend sampling this
product first to see if it is something you’d enjoy!

Thank-you for reading! Please comment down below if you’ve tried any of these products before or if you have any recommendations for me!
